Artist’s Books and Cookies #2

You’re invited to participate in the second iteration of ForYourArt & Alumnos47‘s Artist’s Books and Cookies event. This year, we will host the event at Ooga Booga #2, located at 356 S. Mission Road, LA 90033.
This is an open call for artist’s books to be displayed at OB #2 for a one-day public exhibition on June 30, 2013. All books submitted will be accepted for exhibition at this event. Artists or publishers may submit up to two books. All kinds of artist books are welcome, and we especially encourage books made using unusual techniques and materials.
Books can be dropped off or mailed starting now to Ooga Booga #2 (356 S. Mission Rd. Los Angeles, CA 90033) or ForYourArt (6020 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036). Please confirm opening hours at For Your Art or package books so they can be slipped through the mail slot. Ooga Twooga’s hours are Wednesday-Sunday 11AM-6PM.
All books must be received by Wednesday, June 26th and be accompanied by a completion of the online submission form. Books can be picked up at Ooga Booga #2 the week following the exhibition (before July 7th) or, if indicated on the form, will be donated to Biblioteca Alumnos47 along with any books not picked up after the week-long window.
And of course, we will have cookies on the day of exhibition, baked specially by our friends at Sqirl!
